Craft: Handcrafted, lacquer painted sindoor/kumkum /vermilion-box from Varanasi (Benaras).

Being handmade slight variation in color and design may occur.

Its made of natural wood(not plywood). Coats of lac, paint and anti-termite polish applied to it may get some peculiar smell if kept in humid weather. This does not amount to defect. To remove this smell keep it in bright sunlight for few days. Do not wash with water.
