Return and Cancellation Policy
www.shilphaat.com believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy.
However, Customers are duly requested to rethink before cancellation of orders. The products we offer are not machine made. They are painstakingly crafted by human hands. As Its said “to err is human” and this human touch can be felt in form of minor irregularities like- few missed out threads in weaves, slightly misplaced beads and threads, slightly overlapping colors, minor dispropotion in shapes and other such negligible human mistakes. These are not defect but a unique charm that only handmade products display. Proud to own such a piece that has been made just for you. Its disheartning for our artists and for us too when few people make unnecceary comparisons with machine made products in terms of finishing and pricing of hand-made products.
Please be careful before placing orders, as we accept returns only in case if product is damaged or wrong order has been dispached.
The exchange claim due to dissatisfaction may either be accepted or rejected by the Company in its sole discretion which shall not be disputed by the Users.
The details of product are provided with the product, please do not try to confim it with customer care executives, they are not equipped to anwer it. However, it can be cross-checked along with other queries on mail or social-media messaging service
Though its unlikely that product you receive will be damaged, yet customers are requested to check the package and return if its found to be open, tempered or damaged.
Please e-mail or whatsapp us the clear photograph of damaged product along with order no and SKU I’D within 24 hours. Shilphaat.com won’t be able to entertain any claim for damages after 24 hours of receipt of product.
On places where we have reverse shipment, we will provide pickup for damaged or wrong delivery or else customer has to ship it back to us for which company will reimburse(applicable ony for damaged or wrong delivery)
Payments and Transfers
Users/Customers are requested not to entertain calls and mails send from number and mail I’D given on website and not to transfer money on any link, number or account other than that provided on website.
Please reconfirm on official mail I’D and number provided before any transfer. Shilphaat may help or support its customer but will not be able to hold any responsibility for such negligence on customers’ part.
How do I cancel an order on shilphaat.com ?
If unfortunately you have to cancel an order, please do so within 24 hours of placing the order.
Please SMS on number provided and send an e-mail as well mentioning your order number in the subject line to help us quickly process your returns/exchanges.
Orders are confirmed on call and dispatched around 4:00 P.M on second or third day of placing order. Please make sure that your cancellation message should reach us before product is dispatched.
Please ensure that the returned merchandize is unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged and is in a saleable condition.
Please ensure safe and secure packing of returned items to prevent any loss or damage during transit.
Requests for return/exchange would be processed only after the safe receipt of item(s). new order will be dispatched to you within 3-5 business days after receipt of returned shipment.
In the case of returns, banks normally take 7-10 business days to process a refund once it has been initiated from our end.
Please note we offer reverse pick facility only at select places and customers will need to send it back to us from places where reverse pick-up is not available.
For outright cancellations by you:
– If you cancel your order before your product has shipped, entire amount will be refunded.
If the cancellation is after your product has shipped:
– if cancellation is done after dispatch from our centre shipping amount will be deducted. If customer has received the product, it will be eligible only for replacement .
Refunds will be credited to account number provided by customers within 15 working days from the date of cancellation of order.
In case of complaints regarding products that come with a warranty from manufacturers, please refer the issue to the concerned manufacturer. Let us know & we’ll help you regarding the same
If you think, you have received the product in a bad condition or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged before delivery, please refuse to accept the package and return the package to the delivery person. Also, please call our customer care at +91 9818036781 from 10 a.m to 6 p.m monday to saturday or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org mentioning your Order ID. We will personally ensure that a brand new replacement is issued to you with no additional cost. Please make sure that the original product tag and packing is intact when you send us the product back.
Apart from condition reserved herein above, the following products shall not be eligible for return or replacement, viz:
- Any product that exhibits physical damage to the box or to the product;
- Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included with the product at the time of delivery;
- Any product without a valid, readable, untampered serial number, including but not limited to products with missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable serial number;
- Any product from which the UPC (Universal Product Code) has been removed from its original packaging.
- Any product that is not received on account of providing inadequate or inaccurate shipping address or your non-availability at the address provided, the Transaction will be cancelled and the item will be returned to the seller/Company and the seller/company will be entitled to recover reasonable compensation for services provided and costs incurred for shipping, handling, couriering, processing your order and any other services provided to you, the remainder amount post such deductions shall be returned to you.
- In case of return due to non-availibility of recipient or change in shipping address after dispach of product, buyers are entitled to pay shipping charge even if product is under free shipping category.
- The handcrafted products may not have smooth finish, they may display slight variation in color and designs like; over-lapping colors, slighltly different shape, loose threads etc. these may look like imperfection to few customers but they are sign of being handmade and don’t amount to damages hence are not eligible for return or refund.
- Being handcrafted, most of the products may not be available in duplicates hence, in that case we will either refund money(for damaged products only) or replacement will be done with different product as choosen by customers. In case of differnce in price, higher has to be paid by customers and if price is lesser than original product, we will pay the balance amount.
